Whats the name of the object doctors use to look into your ears with?

I know, sounds like a silly question but what is it called, and why is it nessecary during a medical?Whats the name of the object doctors use to look into your ears with?
It's an ';otoscope';.





It provides a clear, magnified view of the ear canal and the tympanic membrane (or the big blobs of cerumen some of us have in our ears!)Whats the name of the object doctors use to look into your ears with?
Otoscope.
Otoscope or auriscope. Check for symtoms of illness, ear wax, and maybe to see if you put your bubble gum in there:)
Im sorry but I dont know, I would like to know though.
