This is what I used to do. Go to paint and cut out what you want to be colored. This works whether you have a tablet or not.


First take the colored image to paint and 'cut' the chunk you want.


Go to Gimp and make the picture black and white.


To make a picture black and white go to 'Colors'. Scroll down to 'Colorize'. Take the 'Saturation' to 0.


Now save and go back to paint. Open the new black and white image.


Paste your object into the picture. If there is a white box around the image, click the second option at the bottom of the tools.


Position, save and you're done!
